Full design, supply and installation for three apartments in the same building: one residential, two run as B&Bs, with a single contemporary language applied to two different ways of living.

Three apartments in a single building. One is the owners’ home; the other two host guests as B&Bs. The project started from that distinction, and the direction was clear from the outset: one contemporary language for the whole building, not two separate standards.
That choice has a concrete consequence. The quality a guest finds in the apartment where they sleep is the same the owners chose for themselves — same criteria, same care over proportions, same level of finish. Essential lines, clean surfaces, no decorative element without a reason to be there.
On that basis we worked on the two guest units, where the project had to answer a different question: how do you furnish a home whose occupants change every week?

A guest apartment has to explain itself immediately. Someone walking in has no time to learn the house: within seconds they need to know where to put the suitcase, where they will eat, where the light switch is. The project grew out of that need for legibility, and it shaped the layout of the furniture before any aesthetic consideration. The two units are organised so that the route taken by a guest who has just arrived is obvious without explanation.
Then there is the second scale against which every choice was assessed: day-to-day management. Surfaces that clean quickly, furniture sized to take intensive, continuous use, layouts that let you put a room back in order without moving half the apartment. These are decisions a guest never notices, and that is exactly the point — the comfort of a short stay is built on choices that have to remain invisible.

Contemporary aesthetics, in this context, are not a matter of taste but a tool. Clean lines let the spaces breathe and make them read larger than they are; essential surfaces age better than decorative detail and absorb constant turnover without showing it. A home that has to appeal to different people every week needs to be welcoming rather than strongly characterised.
We handled design, supply and installation for all the apartments. On a project of this size, coordination counts as much as the drawing: deliveries arriving in the right order, installations that do not block one another, deadlines met because the guest units had to be operational on a fixed date. Handed over finished, ready for the first guest.
